HERSCHMAN, Paul F.
At the age of 90, after a wonderful life, Paul Herschman passed away in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday, November 26, 2012. Formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Paul was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Eva Herschman, and his sister Annette Neff. Paul leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley, and children Gary Herschman (Valerie) of West Palm Beach, and Linda Hechter (William) of Toronto, Canada. Beloved grandfather of Adam Herschman (Jenn), and Chase Herschman, both of Los Angeles, and Sloane Freeman (Marc), and Brooke Yasskin (Mike) of Toronto. Great- grandfather of Tanner Herschman of Los Angeles, and Jack, Sammy, and Bobby Freeman, Bridget and Asher Yasskin, all of Toronto. Paul enjoyed and loved life, and made every day a day for sharing with his family and friends. Paul served in World War II with the United States Navy, and returned to Minneapolis where he was introduced to Shirley, who became his soul mate for 66 years. He worked as a manufacturer of mens sweaters in his company H&H Knitwear. After retirement, he moved with Shirley to West Palm Beach, where they continued to share beauty together each and every day. Funeral services will be held at Beth Tzedec Synagogue, 1700 Bathurst Street on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva will be held at the home of his daughter Linda Hechter at 205 Vesta Drive, Toronto, Friday following the interment, Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:30 pm, evening services will be held at 4:00 pm and at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Weizmann Institute of Science, 416-733- 9220.
