It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Wilson on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Devoted son to the late Tom and Mary Wilson. Loving husband of 37 years to the late Joyce Wilson. Fabulous father to Nancy and Pamela. Dear father-in-law to Bill Brickwood. Bruce was a lifelong resident of Toronto and a proud Canadian, often traveling in later life, but never without his Canada cap. He spent 40 happy years at Ontario Hydro in public and corporate relations until his retirement in 1990. Bruce was also a founding member of the Leaside Curling Club. Bruce was a devoted family man and a loyal friend. Everyone that met him, liked him, because he was warm and genuine with a keen sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him, especially his family and friends. The family will receive friends at HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 1 at 11 o'clock. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Avenue, M4N 3M5. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
