MARSHALL, Phillis Dorothy nee Rigby
Died peacefully on November 18th, 2012 at the age of 102, lovingly tended by wonderful caregivers at Amica Swan Lake in Markham. Sadly predeceased by her son D'Alton Coleman (Shirley) and husband Douglas Marshall, Phillis will be sorely missed by her daughter, Ann Ballard (David) and John Marshall (Jane), Mardi Braund (Arthur), Mandy MacRae (Bill), numerous grandchildren, Mitch, Kelly, Blair, Cam, Kim, Doug, Tim, Missy, Sarah, Susie and Willie, great grandchildren, Jonathan and Connor, and the most recent additions, great great granddaughters Fiona and Layla Coleman. She pursued her passion for golf and swimming into her nineties and her wonderful musical talent was still evident when she played the piano at her 100th birthday party. She will be remembered for her wry sense of humour and the gentle loving ways which belied her enduring feistiness. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
