COPELAND, Robert Arthur Q. C. (born Orillia July 29, 1929; died Toronto, November 19, 2012, in his 84th year)
He worked for the Ontario Government, Ministry of the Attorney General (Education) from 1954-1989, where he was indispensable in drafting the 1970 Education Act. An accomplished curler, dedicated cottager, world traveller and long-time 'Snowbird' in Siesta Key, Florida, he was a devoted family man, married 57 years, and is survived by his wife, Kathleen, and two children, David and Nancy. Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone funeral home Elmvale from 7-9 pm Wednesday and 12 -2 pm Thursday. Funeral service at the Wycliffe Anglican Church, Elmvale on Thursday, November 22 at 2 pm.
