Douglas Russell Copp

Peacefully went to be with his Lord. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty, daughter Susan (Tom Pasquale) of Toronto, son James (Ann), granddaughters Alicia Mikonen (Mika) and Nadine Pasquale, grandsons Blake (Kathy) and Luke Pasquale, Byron and Fraser Jinkerson, Taylor and Jordan Copp, and brother John. Predeceased by daughter Joanne (2010) , son Gordon (2011), and brother Donald (1997). Doug grew up working in the family business (Copp Shoes). While he moved on to work for Shell Oil, Pacific Petroleum, and then as a commercial real estate broker, he never did lose his appreciation for a fine pair of shoes. In his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time as a volunteer at the Lighthouse Harbour Ministries facility in North Vancouver. Service held at Sutherland Church in North Vancouver, Sun Nov. 18. Donations to Daybreak Point Bible Camp Society or Lighthouse Harbour Ministries.
