FULMER, Edward A
July 13, 1920 - November 10, 2012
Early Saturday morning Ed died peacefully at home in Calgary. Born in Guelph, Ontario, Ed graduated from the University of Toronto and moved west, where he developed deep roots. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley, daughters Susan (Calgary) and Mary Jo (Nanaimo), and grandchildren Madelyn Bossin and Davy Bossin (Nanaimo). Ed was predeceased by parents Hugh and Mary, and brother John. A founding member of the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG), Ed served as president in 1967. To the end, Ed enjoyed a fine Scotch, a good cigar, a cryptic crossword and quoting Shakespeare at opportune moments. Memorial tributes may be made to the Samaritan Club of Calgary, Suite 503, 1500 - 14 St. S.W., Calgary, AB T3C 1C9. Friends are invited to celebrate Ed's life on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m at The Glencoe Club, 636 29 Ave. S.W., Calgary, AB.
