Passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Born October 12, 1914 in Mozyr, Russia, Norman lived a long, happy and healthy life in Toronto. Predeceased by Anne his beloved wife of 62 years. Loving father of Harvey (Rosemary), Gary (Aleksandra), and Debbi (Jim Wallace). Dear Zaidie of seven grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Barry, Cory, Sondi, Kevin and Nicole and six great- grandchildren Molly, Eamonn, Julia, Alice, Mason, and Leah. Lovingly missed by sister Mary Lewin. Predeceased by his siblings Harry Bruner, Rose Eisen, and Adele Orlans. Fondly remembered by sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and his devoted caregiver Adrian Fernandez. A graveside service will be held at Pardes Shalom Cemetery in the Community section on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Shiva at 165 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Thursday from 2:00 p.m., Friday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Norman Bruner Memorial Fund c/o the Benjamin Foundation, 3429 Bathurst Street, Toronto, M6A 2 C3, 416-780- 0324, or www.benjamins.ca.
