SUSAN ELIZABETH PHILLIPS
(nee Haire)
Suddenly, at her residence, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, just two days prior to her 67th birthday. Born in Leeds, England on November 9, 1945. Susan immigrated to Canada to live with her sister Pamela, and to begin her working life. She met, and married her soul mate, the late Donald John Phillips in 1984, after meeting at Inco Canada, where she worked as his personal assistant. Susan and Donald moved to the Cayman Islands in 1987, but following the death of her beloved husband in 1997, Susan returned to Canada, the place she called home, in 2000. This enabled her to be close to her dear friends. Susan is survived by her elder sister Patricia, and brother Jack. A dearly loved sister, aunt, and cousin, Susan will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those who were part of her life. A funeral service for Susan will take place in St. Paul's Chapel, at St. Peter's Anglican Church (240 College St., Cobourg), on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11 a.m., with visitation being held at the church one hour prior to service, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery will follow. If desired, donations may be made to a Charity of Choice. Condolences received at
