MOFFITT, Robert David

Passed away at Scarborough Centenary Hospital, after a short illness on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 83 years of age. David was born in Wallasey, England on September 26,1929. He immigrated to Toronto in 1947 and was married to Mildred Bessie Louise (Nelson) for 63 years. David and Mildred built their own house near Scarborough Bluffs and lived in it together for 61 years. Sadly missed by his wife Mildred, daughters Jennifer (Philip) Richards, Katherine (Reg) Jones, son Christopher (Mishy) Moffitt and grandchildren Jamie (Nicole) Richards, Mark (Natasha) Richards, Michael Richards, Glenn, Marianne and Kevin Jones, Owen and Katherine Moffitt, his relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sister Rosemary Jean Moffitt. Resting at the PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME 1939 Lawrence Avenue East (Between Warden and Pharmacy) from 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 until the time of the Service in our Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
