SHERMAN, (née Maben), L. Ruth
Ruth, whose love enveloped everyone who entered her home (and so many, many did), passed peacefully at home in her sleep on October 30. She devoted herself to caring for and uplifting everyone that crossed her path, especially her husband Bill, her large family, her friends and her church. 'Ruth was the embodiment of strength, practical wisdom, patience, warmth, compassion and good humour.' Ruth had not a single vice...except maybe, chocolates. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, the family will gather together to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Sharon House (a Christian Science nursing facility) 24 Montgomery Rd. Toronto ON M8X 1Z4.
