Elgin Gordon Strong
Passed away early on Monday morning, October 29th, 2012. He lived passionately for his family, his friends, golf, red wine, the ponies, and a great game of craps. He was a man of great determination, an inspiring work ethic, and a level of integrity unmatched. He is a true rags to riches story in life and in business. Elgin was married 55 years to his loving and equally inspiring high school sweetheart Thelma. The full bloom of the Strong family tree continues on through his children; Randy, Ken (Bettina), and Leslie (Stefan), and his beautiful grandchildren; Zak, Steven, Ryan, Brandon, Kayla, Montana, and Jade. The head of our table will be greatly missed and never replaced. 'It is not how you die but how you lived.' A Celebration of the life of Elgin Strong will be held at Credit Valley Golf & Country Club on Wednesday November 7th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. He asks that you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell.
