On Monday, October 29th, 2012, at St. Michael's Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (née Hughes) and loving father of Susan (John), Robin (Wendy), Pamela (Brian) and Keith (Sherri). Dear grandfather of Bridget (Jonathan), Emma (Bryan), Richard, David (Leigh), Wakelin (Emily), Claire, Casey, Kira and Evan. Son of the late Edwin and Jessie Fulford. Predeceased by his three brothers: Ted, Lloyd and Kenneth. Dick-as he is known by family and friends- served overseas in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War where he met Dorothy, his bride-to-be, at a garden party in Wales. When he returned to Canada, Dick became a Professional Engineer and gained an MBA from the University of Toronto. After retiring from a 35-year career at the Toronto Hydro, he returned to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Glendon College. Dick was also an active and loyal member of St. Philip the Apostle Anglican Church for over 60 years, and he will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 100 Old Orchard Grove, Toronto on Monday, November 5th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West on Sunday November 4th from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund would be appreciated.
