DOYLE, Joe

1921 - 2012 Passed peacefully at home in Briton House September 18, 2012. Joe was the wonderful husband and best friend of Margetta for almost 64 years, extraordinary dad of Kathryn Mandel (Gerry), and Lauren (deceased), and amazing and adventurous Grandpa of AJ and Theo Mandel. Joe was a creative and funny man whose interests were as vast and varied as his resume - retired VP Corporate Affairs of General Foods Ltd, founder of PMRS, former FBI guy, author and storyteller. He enjoyed car trips, animals, cookies, fine scotch and a dry martini. His family and many friends will miss him terribly. A small gathering to celebrate Joe's life will be held at Briton House, 720 Mount Pleasant Road on Thursday, September 27, 1:30 - 3:30 in the Recital Hall.
