Quietly after a short illness at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on Monday September 17, 2012. In his 75th year, John David Kennedy, best friend and husband of Lynn Kennedy. Loving father of Jeffrey, Robert and stepson Steve. Loved Grandfather of Kimberly and Katie. Brother of Marilyn (Sandy Pratt). Son-in-law of Freddy Nowak. Predeceased by two sisters Joanne and Dianne. John was a graduate from Ridley College in 1957, from Pharmacy University of Toronto 1961. Proprietor of two businesses in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the- Lake. John had a love for boating and his summers in Georgian Bay. John's family wish to express their gratitude to the Trauma and Neurological Intensive Care Unit at St. Michael's Hospital. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday September 19, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at Ridley College Chapel, 2 Ridley Road, St. Catharines, on Thursday September 20, 2012 at 12:45pm. Interment in Guelph Cemetery.
