MCDONALD, Morag Mairi

Sadly we announce the passing of Morag (Mo) on July 26 at the age of 86. A long battle with dementia has finally come to an end. Mo, beloved daughter, was predeceased by her parents William & Jessie McDonald, loving brother Harold & wife Eileen and two very special cousins, Hamish & Ernest. She is survived by her dear brother Alastair & wife Marjorie, Harold's second wife Joan, daughter Hilary (Joe), Alastair's sons and daughter, Iain (Anne), Gordon (Jen), Fiona (Achmid), and Andrew (Lara), Ernest's wife Eileen, along with many other family members and friends. Mo was born in Scotland where she was educated and served her Country in the -Women's Royal Naval Service (WRENS). She immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in her thirties where she spent the bulk of her career with The National Film Board. Mo enjoyed tennis, Scottish country dancing, photography and walking the Sea Wall in West Van. Mo's gentle soul will be missed by all who new her. A Memorial celebration for Family and Friends will be held on November 3 at The Beach House 150- 25th Street, West Vancouver, BC at 2 PM.
