DIOSY, Andrew (M.D., FRCPC)


With great sadness we announce the passing of Andrew on August the 6th at the age of 88. Dr. Andrew Diosy was born in Hungary. After coming to Canada in 1957 he completed his medical training in internal medicine and enjoyed a long career in the pharmaceutical industry. After retirement he published two books of Bridge challenges. Beloved husband of Clara, father of Gabor (Joan) and David (Adrianna), and grandfather of Jennifer, Mark, Eleonora and Andrew, and great-grandfather to Charlotte and Sybilla. He will be greatly missed at his cottage on Turtle Lake in Gravenhurst. We will celebrate Andrew's life and say farewell on Monday, August 13 at the Morley Bedford Funeral home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West (2 stop lights west of Yonge St.),Toronto at 11:30 am.
