MOODY, Marie
Passed away peacefully, on August 2nd, 2012, at her home in Trillium Court, Kincardine. Marie was a long time resident of Glen Williams, Ontario having grown up in Saskatchewan with her many brothers and sisters. She moved east at the age of 15 to help in the war effort and met our father shortly after his return from Europe. She was predeceased by her husband (Bev) in the 60th year of their marriage. Marie leaves four children, Greg (Sandra) of North Vancouver, Gerry (Karuna who is recently deceased) of Calgary, Jamie (Jacquelynn) of Mississauga and Angela (Don Hazlewood) of Kincardine. She also leaves 3 grandchildren Jessica (Andrew Pittaro), Kyle and Erinn and 2 great- grandchildren William and Olivia. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Marie was 88 years young. Friends will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Monday, August 6 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Glen Williams Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of our Mother and her daughter-in-law Karuna, or to Community Living, Kincardine and District.
