LAURIE ANNE MUIRHEAD
Passed peacefully on July 27, 2012 at age 55, from cancer at Perram House hospice. The youngest daughter of William (Bill) Chambers and Helen Marguerite (neé Pickard) Muirhead of Muirhead's Stationers, she grew up on Lake Ramsey in Sudbury with her three sisters. An artist and educator, Laurie raised her family in Parry Sound and later taught art at Kohai Educational Centre in Toronto. Her husband Bob Macdonald and daughters Meghan, Kate and Emma Macdonald will hold a memorial service August 11 at 5 p.m. at The 519 Church Street Community Centre. All are welcome.
