MINOR LAWRENCE HALLIDAY
May 28, 1929 - July 8, 2012
Minor Lawrence Halliday died peacefully on July 8, 2012 at The Toronto Grace Health Center. He was predeceased by his partner, Harold Leroy Duffin Babcock, his parents, Samuel Dean Hamilton Halliday and Victoria Mary Halliday (née Moore) and his brothers, George Hamilton Halliday, Nicolas Courtney Halliday, Dean Samuel Halliday, Alton Fredrick Halliday and Bonfield James Halliday. Prior to his retirement in the mid- 90s, Minor had a successful advertising and marketing career. He was much admired and respected by his friends and was noted for his generosity and kindness to others. He always had time for those in need of his wise counsel and he helped many people through difficult times. Minor loved to travel and his work with Foster Parents Plan of Canada took him all over the world. In his early years Minor sang professionally and his love of classical music continued throughout his life. In accordance with Minor's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on August 1, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery in Sandhurst, Ontario.
