JEANE ISABEL MORROW (McLEAN)
May 25, 1938 – July 14, 2012
Jeane left us peacefully on Saturday evening, July 14, to be with her beloved husband Sam. Although her many friends and relatives will miss her we know she is in a far happier place. A true and loyal friend she is dearly loved and will be sorely missed by the Kerr family: Mary Lou and Don, their children Andrew (Susan), Martha Felder, Jeffrey (Holly) and grandchildren, Jessie and Sara Louise Kerr, Jacob and Joshua Felder and Katie, Sam and Sarah Kerr. Her dear, lifelong friend and participant in many good times, Patti Armstrong, will join Mary Lou and cousin Sandra in toasting treasured memories of the 'fearsome foursome' for a long time to come. Jeane's strong family ties included her cousins, Elizabeth Wardell, Sara and Jeff Rodwell, Paul, Mary, John and Martha Henderson, Sandra Henderson, Jack McLean and Joyce Rossiter. All have many special memories of Jeane. Jeane loved her teaching career at David and Mary Thomson Secondary School and when multiple sclerosis forced an end to that part of her career she joined her good friend Joanne Abeles at Lyndhurst Lodge teaching students with spinal cord injuries. Always an active participant wherever she was, she became head of the Residents' Council at Trilogy Long Term Health Care Facility where she proved a worthy advocate for patient rights and where she will be missed by her good friends, both patients and staff. Gratitude is extended to Dr. Bordman and the caring staff at Trilogy and especially to her companions Dainna White and Christie Harnden. A service will be held in the chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stoplights west of Yonge St.), on Wednesday, July 18th at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of your choice may be made.
