McEACHREN, Florence Mary (nee Eaton)

Peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on Monday, April 23rd, 2012 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Frank F. McEachren and her son Gilbert McEachren. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Signy Farncomb, her grandchildren Andrew, Jennifer and Emily and her extended family of nieces and nephews and many friends. Daughter of the late Sir John and Lady Eaton, Florence will be remembered for her unassuming modesty, her generosity to friends, family and community and for her wonderful wit and sense of humour. Throughout her recent illness, she never complained showing great courage and strength in adversity. A private family service will be held, followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A service to celebrate her life will be held in TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West on Friday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Ontario Division, 55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto M4V 2Y7.
