SONIA JANE APPLE (nee SKINNER) 1924 ­ 2009 Passed away peacefully November 2 at Totem Lodge, Sechelt. Dear wife of Barney Apple, loving mother of Heather, Nixon (Marion Gaynor), Sara Jane (Brian Menzies) and Derek (Janice Schuks), grandmother of Jennifer MacCulloch (Andrew MacCulloch), great grandmother of Sophia and Tom MacCulloch, sister of William Skinner, godmother of Patti Skinner. Fondly remembered by Eurodene Maynard, Joan Gaynor, Siobhan and Meghan Hanley, Galen and Calleagh Menzies. Sunny had her primary education in Welland, Ontario and subsequently was in residence at Branksome Hall, Toronto and St. Hilda's (Trinity College, U of T). Gentle and loving she will be missed by all who knew her. Donations appreciated to the CNIB and Totem Lodge, Sechelt, BC.
