MILOSEVIC, Alexander
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Milosevic who passed away quietly at his family home in his 100th year in the company of his son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Although feeble and suffering from heart disease in his later years he remained a steadfast presence within the family demonstrating a lifelong mantra of discipline and the indefatigable will to continue against all odds. Predeceased by his loving and faithful wife Vera, he will be deeply missed by his son Goran and wife Amelia and grandchildren Stefan and Sasa and his extended family in Serbia. Alexander was a man of deep principle, conviction and dedication to a belief in human freedom, a patriot of the deepest order whose heart never left his beloved fatherland Serbia. All who knew him would say he had a presence and character that was larger than life, one of the very last of a generation of men who are no longer with us. Visitation will be at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellete Avenue, Windsor, Ontario on Thursday 5th November from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday 6th November from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm with prayers both days at 8 pm. Interment will be in Selo Saranovo, Serbia. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
