Peacefully at Toronto Grace Hospital on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the age of 59. Dear son of Edith and the late Jim Street. Brother and friend of Carol (Terry Burke), Patricia (Rick Liliani) and John. Generous and caring uncle to Kevin and Emily Burke and to Sean, Alison and Paul Liliani. Long time employee of Fermar Paving. David bore his illness due to cancer over the last year with courage and stoicism, and was supported at the end by many close and lifelong friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Yorke' Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto Grace Hospital Palliative Care unit would be appreciated.
