After a well lived life and brave battle with illness, Bill passed away peacefully on Thursday July 9, 2009. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 45 years, Jane; his sons John and Mark, his daughters-in- law Joanne and Stephanie; his adoring grandchildren Jack, Joshua, Reid and Kelly and his neices Hope and Margot. Bill was predeceased by his parents Dr. John and Lyall Humphrey and his brother Dr. John Humphrey. His joy of life was inspiring, contagious and will be missed by all his friends and family. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (140 Brooke Street, Thornhill). A private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Hospital - Cardiac Centre, Sunnybrook Foundation, or to a charity of choice.
