Shirley Joan Prince passed away peacefully Monday, July 6, 2009 in her 75th year, after a lengthy illness with cancer, borne with grace and dignity. She is the dear sister of Marion (David) Alexander, Raymond Prince, Donald (Doreen Prince) and Lynda (Lloyd) Selle. Also remembered with gratitude by 20 nieces and nephews and their families. Shirley was born in Toronto and worked in financial services sector before moving to Bancroft on retirement. Burial has taken place in Barrie Ontario. Please join us for a Celebration and Thanksgiving for Shirley's life on Sunday, July 26th at 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon at Dovercourt Baptist Church (Bloor at Dufferin) where she was a long-time member. The family is grateful for the care given her by staff at Christie Gardens Apartment and Care, as well as the love and support of many friends here in Toronto and Purdy Church in Bancroft.
