In our feature interview, we talk to the man in charge - CHL President and OHL Commissioner David Branch! Dave gives us a look back at some of the most intriguing stories of the 2008-2009 junior hockey season, including bold rule-changes, records being broken, and Canada’s drive for five at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship!

Our Insiders are back to give us one final look at the 08-09 season in the CHL! OHL Insider Jim Cressman looks back on the huge blockbuster trade that sent John Tavares to the London Knights, Rick “the Bear” Wile discusses the titanic battle out west this season between the Vancouver Giants and Calgary Hitmen, and Stephane Leroux looks at the record-breaking, meteoric rise of the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

And finally, we have the Globesports.com Player of the Year! The winner is – Brampton Battalion captain Cody Hodgson! The Canucks 1st-Round pick finished 8th in CHL scoring, 4th in OHL scoring, and lead the World Junior Hockey Championship with 16 points, helping Canada earn its 5th straight gold medal!

We can’t forget the Globesports.com Player of the Week! The winner is – Cedric Lalonde-McNicol of the Shawinigan Catarctes! His seven points in three games this week helped get the Cataractes to their first QMJHL final in almost four decades.

Jim Cressman tells us about the blockbuster Tavares trade in the OHL, Rick “the Bear” Wile tells us the WHL’s top scorer has been moved, and Stephane Leroux talks to us about the amazing story of Angelo Esposito, and over 70 players being traded in the QMJHL.

T’is the season – for the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship! This week in our special preview for the World Juniors we speak to none other than team Canada’s head coach, Pat Quinn! He’ll give us the inside scoop on Canada’s 2009 World Junior roster, the challenges ahead of them, and how good their chances at bringing Canada its fifth straight gold medal in the Drive for Five.
