GE invests $100-million in Ontario
Mississauga GE Canada says it will spend up to $100-million over the next five years to upgrade design, production and process capabilities at its Peterborough, Ont.-based industrial motor factory.The Canadian unit of global conglomerate
General Electric
says it needs to make the upgrades to stay competitive, and adds that the upgrade is expected to create about 100 jobs.
