H&R REIT back in the black

Toronto — H&R Real Estate Investment Trust returned to profitability in the third quarter as rentals from income properties inched up.The trust earned $15.7-million or 11 cents per unit for the quarter ended Sept. 30. That reversed year-earlier loss of $20.7-million or 15 cents per unit, when it booked a $50.2-million impairment charge related to its income properties.
