Don't want to quit Rothmans? Just say no

The analyst, an outdoors nut who loves to cycle and hike, showed up at Rothmans' head office for a chat with the tobacco company's top brass. This was about five years ago, and indoor smoking had already been banned pretty much everywhere in Ontario. He was guided to a boardroom, the meeting began, and chief executive officer John Barnett promptly lit a cigarette.
