OTTAWA — Canada's net worth increased slightly in the first quarter of 2008, driven by rising residential real estate values, Statistics Canada says. The country's net worth – total assets less liabilities – rose 1.2 per cent in the first three months of the year, compared to the previous quarter. That's a smaller increase than the 2.
