Strike, supply concerns push copper higher
LONDON, NEW YORK Copper prices in London and New York rose more than two per cent on Tuesday as escalating strike action at world number one producer Codelco and low inventory levels fanned supply concerns.
Tin set a record high of $22,650 (U.S.) a tonne on worries about supplies from top producers China and Indonesia.
