Wind power draws $200-million investment from CPPIB

Toronto — The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) is making a big investment in renewable energy, putting $200-million (U.S.) into Connecticut-based wind power company Noble Environmental Power. Founded in 2004, Noble Environmental has wind parks under development in states including New York, Vermont and Texas.
