Umbro CEO departs after Nike merger

NEW YORK — Athletic apparel company Nike Inc. said Monday it completed its acquisition of Umbro Plc and the British soccer company's chief executive officer has decided to leave the company. Nike said Matthew Cook, who most recently was general manager of Nike Italy, will succeed Steve Makin as head of soccer specialist Umbro.
