Black loses final bid to remain free on bail
In three days, Conrad Black will go from Lord Black to inmate 18330-424.Yesterday, Lord Black lost a final bid to remain free on bail while he appeals his convictions for fraud and obstruction of justice. The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh District ruled that Lord Black must report to prison by 2 p.m. Monday to start serving his 61/2-year sentence.
