Telus Corp. said Friday its fourth-quarter profit dropped 42.1 per cent as a labour dispute, higher restructuring costs, and a one-time debt-financing charge offset strong sales growth.
Profit at Canada's second-largest phone company fell to $78.5-million or 22 cents a share in the three months ended Dec. 31, from $135.6-million or 37 cents fully diluted a year earlier.
Revenue climbed a better-than-expected 6.2 per cent to $2.
