Drabinsky knew nothing of fraud: defence

TORONTO -- There are ample "pillars of reasonable doubt" that demonstrate Garth Drabinsky knew nothing about a fraud at Livent Inc., his lawyer told a Toronto court yesterday.During closing arguments at the fraud trial of Mr. Drabinsky and Livent co-founder Myron Gottlieb, lawyer Edward Greenspan argued that neither man had any motive to commit such a crime and neither ever sold Livent shares to benefit from the fraud.
