Talisman strikes deal for Iraq fields

CALGARY -- Talisman Energy Inc. just couldn't help itself.The company, long criticized by investors for spreading itself too thinly, had pledged to change its ways by selling scattered international assets and concentrating on North American unconventional natural gas. In the process, the firm went from black sheep to the prodigal son of the oil patch.
