Quebecor World loses major client to rival

MONTREAL -- Quebecor World Inc., which is under court protection from its creditors, has lost a major Canadian magazine printing contract to rival Transcontinental Inc. Rogers Publishing Ltd., the magazine division of Rogers Communications Inc., has signed a six-year contract worth an estimated $210-million to have Transcontinental print all of Rogers' publications, including magazine titles such as Chatelaine, Maclean's and Canadian Business.
