Errors weren't fraud: Nortel's ex-CEO
Frank Dunn believes he "rescued" Nortel Networks Corp., and says any accounting issues under his watch were merely mistakes, rather than fraud.Three-and-a-half years after Nortel fired Mr. Dunn as chief executive officer and Douglas Beatty as chief financial officer, the two men detailed their views this week on the scandal that derailed their careers. They did so in U.S. court filings in response to a civil fraud suit launched by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
