Social investment assets soar
Pension funds are piling into socially responsible investments, sending assets soaring past the half-trillion-dollar mark in Canada, a report to be released today shows.The value of social investment assets soared to $503.6-billion in 2006 from about $65.4-billion in 2004, according to a Social Investment Organization study.
