Yahoo, Google want bigger role
Yahoo Inc. says it will release software to give people access to its e-mail, map guides and other services from TVs and mobile phones.The world's most-visited Web property and its chief rival, Google Inc., may not make computers or DVDs, but they want to be an integral part of how people use their devices in the rapidly emerging age of digital, portable media.
