Size matters when investing for dividends, but not how you think.Investors often compare dividend-paying common stocks by their yield, which is a measure of how much income a stock generates through its dividend payments. But there's a better measure of a dividend stock's worth: Just look to the amount by which the company issuing the stock has increased its dividend from year to year.
