British workers warn of more unrest

NORTH KILLINGHOLME, England — One row over the use of foreign workers at a British construction project may have ended, but if Stewart Roe has anything to do with it, it won't be long before there's another. A pipe fitter at the French-owned Lindsey oil refinery in eastern England, Mr. Roe was unhappy about the deal struck on Thursday to end an eight-day dispute over the use of Italian and Portuguese contractors at the Total SA plant.
