Passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Samuel Butler.
Much loved mother of Peter and his wife, Cathy; Michael and his wife, Lorraine; Carol; and David and his wife, Janice. Loving grandmother of Jeffery (Rose), Alison (Kyle), Katherine (Peter), Daniel (Kristin), Byron, Johnathon, Natalie, Thomas; and greatgrandmother of Zoe and Claire.

MARIE BERNICE CASEY "Bernie"
Passed away peacefully, on April 20, 2018, surrounded by friends and family, after a lengthy illness. She is dearly loved by brother, Gerald Casey (the late Denise Casey); nieces, Sheila, Maureen, Colleen, Judy, and Sue (the late Mark Pogue); nephew, John (Suzanne); many beloved grand-nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends. Bernice was predeceased by parents, Charles and Lavina (Graham) Casey.
She attended Brescia College at Western University and graduated from the teacher education program at University of Toronto. A savvy business-woman, she taught business and data processing at Mimico High School for many years until she retired in 1989. Clever, witty and funloving, Bernice enjoyed travel, theatre and music and was a skilled bridge player.
Special thanks to the staff at Christie Gardens and especially her kind and loving care-partners who looked after her so well.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne St., Toronto, ON., M4X 1K5. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Basil's Church, 50 St. Joseph St., Toronto, ON., M5S 1J4. In lieu of flowers, Bernice would appreciate donations to Birthright Toronto or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
SYDNEY CHARLES COOPER April 1, 1921 - April 21 2018
Sadly passed away at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Toronto, son of Toba and Abraham Cooper. Predeceased by Florence (2016), his beloved wife of 70 years.
Attended Harbord Collegiate and University of Toronto School of Engineering graduating in 1945.
He became part of the Training Corps at university and joined the Royal Canadian Engineers Officer Training Centre in Petawawa.
He began his career as a civil engineer working throughout Canada for four decades building the infrastructure that was the foundation of this great country.
He embraced a strong set of values that encompassed philanthropy in his local community and Israel. His professional skills and leadership qualities were valued by many.
He served as chair and co-chair on the construction committees of The Mount Sinai Hospital, Baycrest/Apotex Centre, Baycrest Hospital and Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. Our father was a respected professional, a devoted baseball fan, and a loyal friend to many.
Survived by his sister, Fritz Reingold; predeceased by his sisters, Elsie Green, Rolly Bennett; and brother, Dr. Jack Cooper.
Father of Tobie and Ted Bekhor, Richard and Clara Cooper, Lynda and Steven Latner. Grandfather of Adam Bekhor and Eryn Green, Jonah and Danielle Bekhor, Daniel and Shari Cooper, Amy and Jay Feferman, Jon Cooper and Jon Tuttle, David Cooper, Lily and Jon Otis, Jack and Marci Latner, Yael and Daniel Kanter, Phoebe Latner and Nevin Dunn. Greatgrandchildren, Samantha, Josh, Fox, Simon, Goldie, Zackary, Layla, Frankie, and Joseph.
Funeral service was held at Beth Sholom Synagogue on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
Interment in the Beth Sholom Synagogue section of Mount Sinai Cemetery. Shiva at 625 Avenue Road West. Shiva visits daily following the interment from 1:004:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

MILLIE GREENBERG (née Wasserman) 1913 - 2018
Peacefully in Toronto, on April 20, 2018. Much loved mother of Charlotte Robinson (Morris), Nani Beutel (Austin), Charles (Carolyn Segal), and the late Corky (Harriet Holtzman). Esteemed spouse of Peter Greenberg, who predeceased her in 1998. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hinda, Harriet, Phyllis and Josh Robinson, Robert, Eric and David Beutel, Jill and Dana Greenberg, and Julianne and Mitchell Greenberg. She was a loving great-grandmother to twentyone and a great-greatgrandmother.
Funeral service was held at the Adath Israel Section of the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery in Montreal. Private Shiva.
JOHN J. KELLY C.A. "Jack" July 28, 1931 April 20, 2018
Passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, after a courageous battle with melanoma, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 86. Devoted husband of 63 years to Helen (née Bobinski). Loving father to Donna and her husband, Brad; and David and his wife, Anna. Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Isabella, Charlotte, Matthew, and Thao.
Born in 1931 in Arthur, Ontario, Jack was a graduate of De Le Salle High School in Toronto, Queens University and The Institute of Chartered Accountants where he became a life-long practicing Chartered Accountant. Retired as Vice President of Finance at Industrial Tires Limited (I.T.L.) and Urethane Products of Canada.
Retirement was filled with his passions: friends, family, travel, and golfing at the Credit Valley Golf and Country Club where he was in his 39th year as a member.
Special thanks go out to the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital Oncology and Palliative care units, who so lovingly cared for Jack. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Melanoma Network of Canada (http://www.melanomanetwork.ca) in Jack's name.
Friends and family will gather at the Turner and Porter Funeral Chapel (Erin Mills) on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 6-9 p.m. A Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Mississauga, on Saturday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a private interment at Glen Oaks Cemetery. Details of a Saturday reception for close friends and family following church service T.B.A. after the service.

It gives us great sorrow to announce the sudden death of David Robinson at the Ottawa General Hospital.
David was the son of the late Margaret and Thomas Robinson. He will be missed by his sisters, Gayle Sommer and Marilyn Ramsingh; as well as his many friends in Ottawa.
