David Sculthorpe, Chief Executive Officer of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon von Kaldenberg as Vice-President and Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Shannon von Kaldenberg comes to us as a recognized leader in the philanthropy sector, with more than three decades of experience in fundraising, strategic planning and senior management. Ms. von Kaldenberg brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, with a long and distinguished track record of success in the education, social service, health care, consulting and corporate sectors.
Most recently, she served as Associate Vice-President, Alumni and Development and Chief Development Officer at the University of Victoria, where she successfully developed and implemented an aggressive and sustainable fundraising program while integrating the university’s fundraising priorities with the institutional strategic plan.
At the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Shannon’s mandate is to implement a vibrant culture of philanthropy and build a sustainable and robust fundraising program that is aligned with the Foundation’s strategic plan.
