Paul Lucas, President and CEO of GlaxoSmithKline Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Watters to Vice-President, Sales, responsible for leading the company’s Canadian sales activities.
Since originally joining GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in 1994, Mr. Watters has held increasingly responsible positions within the commercial business. Most recently, Mr. Watters held the position of Director, Specialty Care, delivering key results for GSK’s extensive and diverse specialty care product portfolio, as well as leading the creation of GSK’s digital marketing team.
With more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing, Mr. Watters has been instrumental in launching a number of key brands in the Canadian market, and notably, in building the company’s vaccines franchise.
Mr. Watters holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) degree and an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto.
