Scotiabank is proud to announce the appointment of Brian Toda to the position of Senior Vice-President of the Total Compensation Group. In his new position, Mr. Toda will be responsible for the design, communication and service delivery of compensation and benefit programs for all Scotiabank Group employees and executives world-wide.
Mr. Toda joined Scotiabank in 2001 as Vice-President of the Total Compensation Group with 20 years of experience in human resources and compensation.
Mr. Toda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with honours from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Industrial Relations from the University’s Centre for Industrial Relations. He also holds a Certified Compensation Professional designation and a Certified Human Resources Professional designation. Mr. Toda has received the American Compensation Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mr. Toda is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade, the non-profit group WorldatWork and the Canadian Human Resources Planning Society. He is a former member of the board of the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
