HSBC Bank Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sandra Stuart as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Stuart joined HSBC Bank Canada in 1980, and has filled a number of management roles in Canada, the U.S. and Brazil. Beginning her career in a branch, Sandra Stuart has held increasingly senior positions in Operations, Change Delivery Management, Distributed Networks, Direct Banking and IT. While a resident in the U.S., Ms. Stuart held the role of Chief Information Officer, and most recently Group Head of Change Delivery Management for HSBC Holdings plc.
Ms. Stuart has attended Executive Management Courses at the Harvard Business School, and has completed a Collective Management Program at the IMD International Business School.
Ms. Stuart was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of HSBC Bank Canada, as well as the Faculty Advisory Board of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
