Stikeman Elliott is pleased to announce that Pierre Setlakwe has joined its Montréal office as a partner in the Real Estate Group. Mr. Setlakwe specializes in real estate law as well as municipal law with respect to zoning and urban planning. In addition to owners and developers, he represents national and foreign institutional real estate investors in the purchase, sale and financing of real estate portfolios and public authorities and institutions in the privatization and redevelopment of existing properties. He is also experienced in the negotiation of leases, sales, and real estate financing agreements with financial institutions. Mr. Setlakwe was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1987.
